Just for fun after arm wrestling with the kids the wife and I had a shot... best 2 out of 3....

Round 1 - Stalemate just
Round 2 - Beat me fair and square

I couldn't handle a round 3 so I quit lol

That was with me throwing everything into it. Never been so happy to be weak it was sore but felt so good.

So funny just had to share :)

My life motto: Wake Up and BE Awesome!

"Every minute of your life that you allow someone to dictate your emotions, is a minute of your life you are allowing them to control you." - a dear friend of mine.

Stay true to yourself no matter the consequence, for this is your life, your decision, your trust in which will shape your future. Believe in yourself, if you don't then no one will.

That's awesome! ;-)

Is that down to regime or hormones, do you think?

Both I think.

Stopped doing any exercise with my upper body apart from aerobics/sculpting class about 9ish months ago. I use 4kg dumbells during it (there is a gorgeous girl in my class that uses them so I copied her) but never a 5kg which is now too much for me. Historically was comfy playing with over 25kg so yay. Used to increase in strength easily but never put on much muscle mass which confused the heck out me as a boy but such a blessing now I'm a girl. Staying away from strength training just in case I suddenly turn into the hulk lol.

Now I'm just class and treadmill but think I am going to stop treadmill for a bit as I don't seem to getting any real progress on my legs. To the contrary I think it may be maintaining more of the muscle so going to do just class only for a few months. Might need to add in a pilates or something though as 1 class a week not enough for me.

Diet I went from eating crap to healthy to "part time vegan" and calorie controlled now to "mostly vegan" consuming on average about 700-800 calories a day. (I know it's bad for you but it works for me. Thinking of experimenting with 1200 but don't know if I could honestly eat that much)

Good stuff!

Yeah, I've stopped all exercise since the start of the year, but that's it for me, so just that and watching what I eat, which in practice means nothing super unhealthy, but relative freedom otherwise. I still have regular protein in my diet, but I think the lack of exercise is keeping that from doing anything unwanted. I've certainly lost muscle, and recently it seems like some of the fat that took it's place is slowly leaving too, so I think I must be quite lucky with my metabolism.

Once/if I go on hormones at some point, I totally intend to do something similar to you. Pilates or yoga as I'd like to work on straightening out my neck/shoulder area as much as possible...

Glad to hear it's all going so well! ;-)

Congrats! It must have felt great! I stopped any form of strength training and am just doing pilates, toning and flexibility classes. Still far from a split though.

Extra funny update my 11 year old daughter drew with my right arm but nailed me with her left!!!!!
