Since I made my decision to transition, I've been having therapist sessions, but honestly, there isn't a single night I won't cry before going to bed. I need to be myself, and this wrong, ugly body must go. Why is it more difficult now, that I decided to go through transitionning? The wait is killing me. Burocracy, burocracy....!

Welcome to Susan's Place. When you finally decide to come out and deal with your problem, it seems to take forever. In my case it did because I was 5 years of therapy until I learned enough to move into the feminine role and about another 3 year before surgery. It will happen but there is a good deal you can do to prepare for that day. Assuming you are MTF facial hair removal should start as soon as possible and dress/image can be done now. There is much work to do and you don't have to wait on a therapist to start it.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Dena is right there is a heap of stuff you can do...Getting onto electrolysis is a good idea or laser if that is your preference...how about voice? Are you doing anything for yourself to help with the Dysphoria like underdressing and that kind of thing?

I'm already getting rid of all my body hair with laser. I also wear thongs everyday, all day, and my toenails are varnished (bright red). Small things that make me feel a little better :)

Yah the little things seem to help me. Things like shaving, or dressing up around the house or friends that I know really well, practicing makeup techniques, etc.
