It's wonderful to have eloquent, capable proponents like Ms. Lynch on our side.  Her remarks were a huge morale builder for me.

I've had my criticisms of Ms. Lynch in the past, but the simple truth is that she scored beaucoup brownie points with me for this.
When in doubt, ignore the moral judgments of anybody who engages in cannibalism.

This is not half bad. Some people are calling our "I have a dream" moment.

This is the moment I've been waiting for ALL OF MY LIFE. We have now been officially recognized by the federal government as real people. This is indeed a proud moment for me. I should also point out that she was appointed by our president to this position. I KNOW this would not have happened if the other guy had been elected.

Bravo Loretta Lynch and the Obama administration for acting swiftly and surely.  We will prevail !

People asked me why I kept voting for Obama and this is why, his administration gives me hope that we are going to grow and thrive as a country and leave that politics of hate and discrimination behind us.

Vanita Gupta who is prosecuting this case said that they support us as we are, and that is amazing to think that someone from the government isn't trying to change is to fit us into a box is great.

In my opinion it is far from it.

Recall that Dr. King's dream speech was delivered by an actual black person.

Ms. Lynch is not (to my knowledge) trans. Our "I have a dream" moment will come when one of us achieves the prominence to speak to the world and we won't need cisgender people speaking for us.

The AG's office's support for trans people will not even last one whole year. It is likely that whomever is elected president will replace the AG next winter, and if it is a president that is not sympathetic to trans issues, we cannot expect to see this sort of support continue.

I would say that any AG appointed by Clinton or Sanders would be trans friendly. The Gov can put in a lot of protections this year as well.
