(Mods feel free to move it if this topic doesn't fit. I am a little confused on where it should go)
Here is a little backstory first. My partner moved back to our hometown almost over a year ago. So I knew her previously and we went into a full relationship when she returned. I told her about me being Transgender and she was totally accepting of it. Problem is, we are struggling with her parents, her mother to be more exact.
We told her mother that I was trans and that I went by a masculine name. Apparently, she only thinks you are trans if you "have the OP." I don't quite know how to tell her that she is wrong. Not only that, she keeps dead-naming me and getting mean with my partner when she refers to me correctly. I feel really bad because my partner is being put into drama for doing the right thing.
Do you lovely guys/gals have any advice? I really need help before something gets out of hand!

Thanks for reading this!
