Even I an incision is most of the way healed, there is possibility of tearing back open.
I would recommend asking your doctor about when you can resume heavy weights.
Muscle memory is fantastic in the response of getting back into training, so even if you do have to hold off up toward 4 months, it will be easy to rebuild. But if you accidentally tear yourself open it will take much longer to heal.
Just be careful and maybe when you do start, go at about 80% to 90% of what you are used to, so you can gauge what you can do in regards to how far yo are healed up.
