Donald Trump reverses his 'support' for transgender rights

http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2016/05/26/donald-trump-reverses-his-support-for-transgender-rights/

Pink News/By Nick Duffy   05/26/2016

"Donald Trump has rescinded his support for transgender rights.
A wave of Republican-backed 'bathroom bills' have spread across the US aimed at rolling back LGBT rights protections, ostensibly to stop transgender people from using their preferred bathroom."

I googled Donald Trump Position Unclear.

I got nearly 500,000 hits.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I googled Donald Trump go wherever they want and got:

About 43,900,000 results (0.78 seconds)

Does it prove anything? Probably not. Bottom line, business drives politics. Business wants our money and talent as much as it wants the money and talent of anyone else. That's why we're going to be accepted in short order, mark my words.

Transsexualism is an actual upgrade from being cis. I know that my perspective is different from others and it makes me a better person. I believe that being trans is evolution in action. Think about it for a moment...dual perspectives!

I would love to vote for Trump because he could fix the economy, or rather make us believe it. Anyway, with the Supreme Court the way that it is I will vote for Hilary or Bernie. I don't trust Trump and no one else should either. I don't trust Hilary either. I trust Bernie, but nobody wants to hear the truth anymore.

Let the states decide? Talk about sidestepping the issue, Trump.

Since when do we let states decide whose rights are taken away?

@ Amoto - He spoke like a true politician didn't he. Isn't he suppose to be the 'non-political' option?

@ HappyMoni - States have proven their inability to govern themselves. History proves this time and time again.

A significant part of the Constitution's (federal government) job is to keep the states from exercising their "rights" (power of the majority) in trampling on the rights of any and all individuals, including me.  This issue is not one that can be settled by a majority vote in any body that is intended to represent the majority of the populous. We are just too small and too hated a group to trust that venue.  It must be accomplished by a deliberative application of the principles explicitly and implicitly contained in the Constitution by judges who are, I hope, committed to upholding the Constitution and not bowing to the own personal preferences or the fears, misguided fears, of a rabble-roused populous.
