So For the first time I got to wear a dress in public, last night! I was going to my sisters drama club awards ceremony, it held both middle and high schoolers and the event was a formal/semi-formal event. When I got there, I was sooooo nervous! Like it dawned on me, that I was going out in public for the first time in a dress and interacting with people. I felt so exposed because a dress doesn't exactly have pants so I was like. "omg what if someone tries to get a look up my dress. I was complimented on my dress though which helped me calm down a bit. Since my sister has told all of her friends in her Drama club they said I looked good too! So as the night went on I got more comfortable with a dress. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait for the next time I get a chance to wear a dress :)

Oh and if anyone is curious, this is how I looked in the dress :P

You look great! You are one up on me. I wore a dress to a transgender conference, but haven't to a mainly cis gender event. So glad to see you "rocking it." Have you worn skirts anywhere? For some reason, I am nervous about dresses but feel very comfortable being out in a skirt. Just curious!

If you EVER wear a dress again... And you get that anxiety, try leggings! :D I have pulled off SO many cute styles with dresses and leggings. If they are shorter, I will wear capri leggings to give it a summery look. I wear dresses as much as I can lol. I am so sick of wearing jeans and a shirt like society expects me to XP

I'm really happy for you, these firsts are always scary.  Glad that you got such a positive response.

I actually haven't worn skirts yet, but I'm definitely going to try soon. If I can rock a dress I can rock a skirt :3

I knew a lot of cis girls that wore shorts or hotpants under particularly short skirts or dresses, if you want to wear tights instead of leggings

+ i like your boots, they're piratey

Purely adorable.

I have not had the chance to take myself out in a dress as of yet, but there will come a time for that. I do have a few, but just on the one occasion I had gone in public with a skirt had struck a nerve seeing as I was compared to the pacific islander base (males) with their ethnic wraps, which is definitely not the same.

I know right? I get kind of a steam punk/pirate feel from them. And ooh I didn't know that, I should really look into some shorts then!! :D

You look absolutely gorgeous! I think it's amazing and incredibly admirable that you have the confidence to be who you truly are in public. Go you! (And those boots are really cute, too  :) )

Aww thank you!!! :3 I was really nervous and kind of thought I wasn't going to pass that night, because I didn't have any time to do any make up, but thankfully I did pass so it made it much much better :3 *hugs*
