So I've been trying to decide on a name. I'm looking for a gender neutral name that fits my age (30) and starts with C (I want my initials to remain the same because of a tattoo I have).  Right now I'm pretty set on Cameron.  Just wanted your opinions and suggestions.  I'm pre  T and don't intend to actually change my name until I start T.

For me Cameron is becoming too common a name. Seems like almost every parent is naming their sons that (so I don't think it'll suit an adult). Plus it reminds me of David Cameron; who isn't really that popular in the UK atm  . Charles or Charlie are nice names or you could have Clint or Christopher. I'd just go through a baby book if you're really set on having a C letter name. Although if I was in your position I wouldn't let a tattoo dictate what name I should have. I'd regard the tattoo as a symbol of my transition and what I had to go through to become the real me. I'd just shrug it off if people ask what it means or it could become an interesting conversation starter.

IMO a new name never feels 100% right; it's something you grow into. It's also important it suits your personality. Are you more feminine; masculine or androgynous.

Hmmm. Where I live Cameron is not a common name.  I've only ever know two.  One was the name of an old coworker's child and the other was a person my age that I haven't seen since we were 6.
I am more on the masculine side as far as personality and mannerisms go. I am dead set on it starting with C because I don't want to be questioned my entire life about my tattoo.  I prefer it to be a unisex name but doesn't have to be.

Corey is another unisex C name.

That was from the first 500. If gender neutral is what you're going for, I'm not sure Cameron is it. From the popular list for your age group, Casey is probably the most gender neutral IMO.

Cameron seems to fit you.

Kasey is my sister in laws name.  I really like Cole but only because of the trans guy that played the character of Cole on The Fosters. Didn't feel right to me to steal the name in the end.

Never considered Craig. I'm  going to add that to my list of possibles. Right now it's between Craig, Charlie, cameron, and Chris. I'm only out to a couple of people right now so I'm going to ask their opinions and see if they will call me those names so I can see which one I catch the feels for.

I'm also in my 30s and ran into a problem with the category of names that sounded to young for me. I look young anyway, and a name that became popular 10 years after I was born really reinforced the idea that I was a kid. I want to be taken seriously professionally and that ended up meaning letting go of a couple names I liked. There was one that otherwise worked really well for me and it became my middle.

I really liked Connor myself, but in the US that's a better name for someone 20 or younger. I also liked Cole and is a better fit age-wise. I ended up taking the couple I liked and trying them online in chats and also whenever I'd leave town, choose one to introduce myself as. For me, it became really obvious once I was actually called the name whether I liked it or not.

Caleb is a pretty cool name too. You look like a Caleb or Cameron to me.

Cayden is a passably neutral name.  You're probably too old for Cedar.  I considered Cori for a while; you can have it. 

I would actually stay away from any names with "aiden" or "ayden" attached to them because those are pretty common in the trans community for FtMs plus they're becoming increasingly popular for new generations as baby names.

Cameron seems like it would suit you in my opinion. Someone else up above suggested Chris/Christopher, that doesn't seem too bad either. Good luck, names can be tricky to settle on sometimes.

Maybe you can change the tattoo to another letter to have more options like to a d, an o or a q?
Although i don't know many names with a q.

I knew a guy who's name is Cosmo.
Another name with a C is Cas or Casper.

I like Cameron, people here use Cammie or Cammy for short too, which is a little more neutral if that's what you're after
