i have a jockstrap harness but the packer barely fits through the hole and when i put it on it dangles straight down between my legs. i think maybe the harness is too small and maybe the packer is too heavy idk. ive tried just putting it in my underwear but again it ends up right between my legs rather than up front and if i wore it out it would easily end up falling out of my pant leg.

Before I got a harness, I bought an actual jockstrap and wore it with the packer in it, underneath my underwear. That worked for me, but I also don't STP. If you want to STP, you're probably going to need to get packing underwear or a harness with a hole for it to go through. I liked the regular jockstrap because it held everything in place really nicely, no moving around whatsoever, and no exposed parts of the packer so I wouldn't have to worry about things shifting into weird positions.

how big was yours? i just looked it up and mine was a medium classic packy and even in briefs it feels like it could slip out and its too heavy to stay in place. ive never worn an actual jockstrap before but wouldnt it be less reliable than briefs for this purpose since theres less fabric?

I wear boxer briefs and had no problem when I wear my packer (a Mr limpy 4 inch). The boxers are tight enough to keep in place and I wear jeans which double up as 'extra protection'.
They/them pronouns preferred.

I have an XS and M Mr. Limpy. I think the XS is like 3.5" and the M is around 4.5" or something? I also have a Peecock. Never had any issues with any of them coming out of place. The only time you'd have to be careful is when you go to the bathroom, since you'd be pulling the jockstrap and underwear off.

You could probably wear just the jockstrap by itself with jeans, but I don't like the feel of it, which is why I layer the jockstrap, boxer briefs, and pants. The fact that it stays in place better that way is just an added bonus.

I haven't had any luck with harnesses and just drop my packer (or STP) into my briefs. Also I have used a jockstrap alone without underwear. Where things get tricky for me is that I hate having a bunch of layers on (and am not a fan of underwear in general) so if I'm just not feeling it, I won't pack.

For me - the trick is GOOD underwear!  Regular, inexpensive underwear just will not work.  By shopping around, I usually find good boxer briefs for about $10 each - normal price is $20 to $30 each.  I never would have guessed that I would pay that much for underwear, BUT I do not like wearing a harness.  I did not have much success with adhesives either, so my quest began.  Now, I do not use a harness or adhesives - even when I use my Reelmagik (my RM is the heaviest I have ever encountered).  But, I can wear my RM STP, all day, with only my boxer briefs.  Needless to say, any other packer or STP works for me without support as well.

My favorites are 2(X)ist and Jockey.

I bought these types of underwear from tranzwear that have a pocket spot for the packer to go. The also work as regular underwear, so that's my go-to for packer specific undergarments. Otherwise, tight briefs are what I use when my stuffs cleaning or dirty.
