My name is Ian. I would be MTF

Hey I'm 17. Use the IRC on here, and just joined the actual cite officially. It is hard for me to work through how I feel about transitioning myself, but I still support anyone does go through with it. They have to be some of the braver people there are. They have to completely learn to live as the opposite of what society told them they were. So I will support most advancement of gender equality, and the ability to become anyones true self.

Ian,

Welcome to the site. At the risk of being lazy... Please read my post above yours and check out those links.

It's great to have you here. Look around, continue to interact and don't be afraid to ask questions.

With warmth,

Joanna

Here are some resources that could help understand:

It may be a bit easier when people understand its really how they feel.
They alread feel as the gender they identify with. If they let it shine through, it can help, with mannerism and gait, and it will look natural. Not exaggerating it but simply expressing it in a natural way.

o: I'm 14, almost 15. FTM, I'm only out to about three people offline though xD I think I'm going to be speaking to someone at the end of this month to see if I have Aspergers or something, my gender identity will probably get brought up at some point too. I've heard gender dysphoric people have a higher chance of being autistic (or was it the other way around?); I wouldn't be surprised if I am actually autistic to be honest

Hi guys :) I haven't been on this thread in a long time. Great news, I got my prescription for testosterone today, and I am going for my first injection tomorrow :) I hardly believe that it's finally happening, this on top of other things. I'm so happy, for a variety of reasons. Oh, and i'm newly an adult (in the eyes of the US, anyways!)

Not technically in the under 20 range.... I'm 22 (still kind of young-ish?). My teenage sibling thinks my age sounds ancient though ::)
----------
Side note: Am I the only one that thinks a poll of ages (or the year you were born) would be interesting? As in if everyone on the site answered...I think it would be cool to see what the majority age is on this site. I'm one to analyze things at times. Might make one up soon, should make sure it doesn't exist first though. :P
