If you could wake up as cisgender, which way would you go?

FTM being cis man (body becomes cis)
FTM being cis woman (The brain change)
MTF being cis woman (body becomes cis)
MTF being cis man (The brain change)
I don't know
I'm non-binary/cis/other, wants to see the result

If you suddenly could become cisgender, which way would you go? You could become a cis woman or a cis man.
You doesn't get reborn, you just wake up as cisgender and continue your life; same family, experience, memory etc. You can vote in the poll if you would change your body or the mind, to become cisgender.

Similar thread I made earlier at Susan's place: When you wake up next day, would you like to wake up as cisgender and be cis rest of your life?

Put a picture for humoristic purposes. It's a person who suddenly changes their mind. Picture taken from blackswan.com

Woman. But I do wake up a woman already...I just happen to have a body that has male configurations! :)

I'm perfectly happy with who I am and how I look. I'm a bit odd being tall, have a lower voice, broad shoulders, and narrow hips. It's not any of these things I'm dissatisfied with. I'm not happy with being stigmatized. I'm not happy with the box I am forced to live in. I'm not happy with the limits placed on me to the potential relationships I may have had.

So I voted cis woman.

But I am who I am. I no longer wish otherwise. I like me. ;)

I'd choose cis man, or to stay a transman. I just can't wrap my mind around being a cis woman.

Is this poll restricted to people who want to be cis?

Because I don't want to be.  I'm happy being trans; the only real problem I have is the people out there who want to rid the world of my kind.  (Well, it would have also been nice to start HRT about 40 years earlier, before T did too much damage, but you can't have everything.)

Cis is just so boring!

Yeah, after all I've been through cis seems quite boring.

I'd happily wake up a genetic woman though. Is that something that can be arranged please? ;D

Short answer would be cis female. No hesitation.

But to throw a monkey wrench into the question (because why not!), suddenly waking up a cis woman with everything else staying the same would be problematic. This new body I had would suddenly have no job, no government identity, and nobody in their right mind would ever believe me when I tried to explain what happened to me. Worse, the former me would suddenly be gone and I would automatically end up a suspect with all of my crazy rantings. Before I knew it I'm on trial for murder (despite no body being found!) and all I get is a court appointed attorney that insists I take the 20 years plea bargain. I refuse the deal, get convicted and end up spending the rest of my life in prison.

Hmmm, I'd take the risk. Still choosing Cis Female.

Obv cis woman.

I don't even tell many people outside of trans groups that I am trans. Why bother ? I feel much happier to simply be seen as a WOMAN as 24 7 beautiful Jennifer especially face to face in real life but also online,

I heavily date men in person and since Ive gone full time as Jennifer I've had in person intimate sexual relations with more than 40 (forty) men. I've told each man within the first 10 minutes I am trans if they didn't know already. It is honest and why risk an angry man ? I have hundreds of male followers online and I sexily flirt online rather outrageously. This brings me great happiness. I believe all or nearly all of them know I am trans.

But aside from dates with men and my now much more limited involvement with trans groups, I just present as WOMAN in real life and online. Why bring up that I am trans unless absolutely necessary ?

I can't wrap my head around being a cis woman either but I think it would be the easier option. My mum wanted a daughter so I feel I'd have to live upto that. Plus I'm kinda off put by male privilege and have quite a fem personality; which would be much easier to show than if I was a man. So I'd choose cis woman.
They/them pronouns preferred.

Cis man all the way. Probably sounds exaggerated, but I wouldn't have a second thought about it.

I think after some thought although I don't understand cis women, it would be easier to wake up as one. In my experience the boyfriends and partners I've had in life all just wanted to look after me, and people are just generally nicer to women and concerned about their wellbeing more. As hard as it is to live as a woman when you are not wired like one in the brain, I can see how it can make for an easier life with a better support network, with less expectation and responsibility placed upon it, with people accepting gender-bending clothing more on a woman and allowing her to express more freely.

So yeah, if I had the choice I suppose I'd rather be cis woman because my life would definitely be simpler and go pretty smoothly. I wouldn't have the clash problems with relationships and people would accept my profession and desires just fine.

But since I don't have that choice, this is just my idle speculation. Life's been pretty hard and miserable, so I'm biased toward wanting an easier life I suppose.

I think waking up cis woman would be amazing only to skip all the troubles and pains of being trans

Like Orlando in the movie I'd have no problem waking up with a 'woman's body' but 'becoming cis' suggests something else again. If you could somehow 'fix/change' me would I somehow be more 'content' with society's decadent, prejudiced and corrupt?

I do not view 'trans' as a curse but rather have always felt special and blessed  . . .

I'm not a self-styled 'victim' who feels the world has picked on personally . . . God put me here for a purpose so suppose I'll always wanna identify as 'third gender' / 'trans'!!!

So the ultimate JEOPARDY answer is . . .

EVERYONE should work on 'looks', and that certainly includes 'just cis'.

This is a hard question so I didn't answer the poll. If you just ask me based on my prior history it would be much easier to continue my life path as a cis woman. However, when you say "change the brain" my whole being recoils, as this hits my very sense of self. So I would much rather have a different body than have massive changes in my brain!

If you suddenly get a female brain, it's a brain changer aka. "soul attack". You doesn't feel man anymore. When the brain becomes female, you would think a woman body is natural to have etc. But it won't affect your hobbies and clothes taste, probably.
