Estradiol, the active ingredient in Evorel, is related to an increased risk in blood clotting. If your surgery will require you to be immobile for some time, the risk is even higher. That's why it's usually recommended to stop for a few weeks before and after surgery.
I don't know about the other one.
You won't experience any physical negative effects from stopping for a few weeks. Any chances you got until now took much longer than that to happen, so they won't go away just like that.
Maybe it will affect your mood. I can't speak about that as I still haven't started HRT. But if it does, well, it's only a few weeks, and it's the price for a safe surgery and recovery.
