I am Vicki, a heavy rocker and friendly person. I've been crossdressing all my life but for a while now have been wrestling with transitioning and that is my main reason for being here as I now need support from those much wiser and who have wlaked this path already. PLus I hope to make good friends

Welcome to Susan's Place. We won't go into my musical taste because they are all over the board but there is always room for one more. Most of the people here are in some stage of transition though there are a few of us who have been there and done that. For me, it was a long time ago but much of what I know still applies and I haven't stopped learning yet. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

I've often been curious about the "line" between cross-dressing and transitioning. Like, is cross-dressing a gateway drug, to put it in the vernacular.

   Hello Vicki, I'm also a rocker but a soft one and I've been crossdressing all my life too. (but only if the doors could double lock) I started transitioning 6 1/2 years ago so yes we may be older than you are and we may have walked that path before but don't make any ideas, we're not that wise! I'm kinda new to the site too but what I've seen so far is that people here are much nicer than I expected and they will most certainly go out of their way to answer any question you might have so have a good time and I hope we will talk again soon, Rose. AND BRING DOWN THE DAMN VOLUME! HA HA.

Hi there Vicky! There is always a room left for another rocker! And I should know, I grew up on rock classics. Later, I became a metal fan. There really are all sorts of people here

Sidney, rock and metal are one and the same to me so I mean both no matter which term I use

Fave artists are wide and varied - from 50s to disco to pop to (mainly 80s) metal - and I tend to cycle songs rather than full albums as I tend to love the odd song by bands. However, fave artists include: ABBA, Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Bee Gees, Fleetwood Mac, Metallica, Skid Row, Roxette, Tyketto, Ozzy, WASP, Van Halen, Erasure, Bon Jovi.


Fave one-off songs (where I'm not a fan of the artist overall) include:

  Hi Vicki, once you have 15 posts you'll be able to upgrade your profile, pic included, and the verifs will stop. They say 'quality' posts though, not sure what it means exactly but you should read the rules, especialy those about posting and quoting, really helps understand. Cheers, Rose.

It means if we catch you making meaningless 3 word responses, your post count will be adjusted or we will take away the ability to alter your profile. Luckily, it hasn't been done while I have been a moderator and it's not that difficult to come up with 15 post that tell us something about you. Once we know you are real, you are entitle to the privileges that come at 15 posts.

Currently the number of posts I have made is higher than my post count. People deleting threads that I posted on have cost me about 300 posts. The missing post are in the round file where as a moderator, I can see them but they aren't real unless moved back into the real world.

   And Vicki when you get to 15 posts you will also be able to send personal messages to anyone you want about anything you might wanna know but as you can see some know more than others...

   Now isn't that some incredible team work! (Ha ha, and I can fell useful, if just a little...) Rose.
