How do you think my earrings look on me?

So I was feeling pretty good about myself today and as usual my dad burst my bubble. I have taken out my starter earrings and put in new ones; to which my dad said 'they looking <not allowed> awful'. So wanted to get both male and female opinions

And please be honest. I'd rather know if i look like an idiot or not than having a negative opinion.

I think they look great. Are those new? Maybe you should see what he thinks of some pretty dangly ones. [emoji4]

Been trying to find myself since 4/5/16. Was lost before then. Still long road ahead.

Thank you and yeah; they're new :). These studs actually came from these earrings http://m.asos.com/mt/www.asos.com/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=5577922&featureref1=we+recommend&CTAref=we+recommend+product+page_6 but I thought they looked too big and too fem (I'm still uncomfortable showing my feminine side around my dad) so I took the triangle bit off. I bought some small hooped earrings aswell so it'll be interesting as to what he thinks of those  ::)

I completely understand what you mean about your dad. I am not out to my family yet so I can't even get myself to piece my ears but it would definitely make shopping for earrings easier. Pierced earrings would be completely uncharacteristic in my male mode which I am at work. I am really new to this and have not started HRT yet either but I do want to get started.

Those look really good. Color coordinated with your shirt and the lack of dangliness is a bonus for the look you're pulling off imo. Your dad just has poor fashion sense.

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Thanks :). Yeah it's odd how he decides to give me fashion tips; yet doesn't put much effort into how he looks  ::)

I had too many problems with earrings to keep them in, but I've always wanted earrings like that with your style. I think they work for you :)

Thanks :). Yeah; I'm starting to realise how annoyingly fiddly they are :D. I'd never be able to use small stud earrings; but it's worth it.
