"According to a report made by the media outlet Gay Star News, British trans people could face charges of rape and sexual assault if they do not disclose their gender history before being intimate with a partner, including acts as innocent as kissing.

The shocking information has come after academics and lawyers met to discuss the current sex laws in the UK, and found that the Sexual Offences Act 2003 has been set up in such a way that it can be used to target transgender people."

The was a case not long after the Newland case mentioned in the article that was a trans man (afaik Newland never identified as transgender) who was convicted for 'deceiving' ... I can't remember his name though.

Perhaps they should add to this "deceiving" men lying to women to have sex.

Gayle Newland, 25, disguised her appearance and voice as she demanded the other woman put on a blindfold when meeting up.
The pair had sex about 10 times until the complainant ripped off her mask and in disbelief saw Newland wearing a prosthetic penis."

This turns my stomach and I doubt it will be amended until after David Cameron is gone. Cameron himself is a nutter bent on peeping into the bedrooms of everyone and telling people how to run their sex lives.
