Well I had an eventful weekend. Decided a few weeks ago that I needed to say something to my SO and finally bit the bullet the other night. Got good and drunk, started talking, danced around the topic for an hour and she HAD ALREADY FOUND MY PILLS!!! About three weeks ago, apparently.

Female intuition? Vestigial male arrogance? I feel like such an idiot. Lots of hugging and laughing and she got all touchyfeely, and it looks like things are kinda normal right now. Totally unexpected. Kept telling me that she loves me.

What a ride. I guess next step is find an endo, talk to the GP, get some bloods done and... quit being such a loner? Will be interesting to see how this plays out  ???

Cheers guys, I'm still not sure what's going on Tbh. Nobody else could possibly suspect a thing, I have tatts, I weld, carry heavy stuff, drive a race car, ride a sportsbike, always been a ladykiller/heartbreaker, work in construction....

Only thing I haven't done is join the army, and I was knocked back for that twenty years ago. These here are halcyon days  :-\

I may have been overcompensating a tad for the last thirty years or so  ;)

Hey Rafaela! I'm pretty much identical to you I weld work construction and am super masculine stinger and tougher than most of my peers came out to my wife and she is totally excepting and encouraging of it.. Still haven't decided if I'm going to transition but I'm leaning more towards it each day.. One of my fears though and I would like your thoughts on it is are you planning to transition in your current position in construction i m thinking I will need to find another career path I mean construction is the worse place for a trans woman there is no hr department and every one talks trash to each other it's an extremely maco environment.. Just curious of your perspective and plans on this matter

Ha... Maybe time for a Flashdance Welding scene lookalike contest? Ok - I am only welding as hobby but love my Miller Mig welder ;-)

Lol I'm not to find of Miller but its probably because I'm a Lincoln whore lol I weld for a career and as hobby my personal welder at home is a Lincoln 210 MP absolutely love it especially for the price it welds MIG tig and stick and is sold for 999 but we could def do the flash dance

Nice welder Randy! Not sure if I could do stick with mine but I mostly weld aluminum anyway, so I use the spool gun most of the time... And for 4 times a year I really use it, the Miller is almost overkill...

Lol I bet we are the only ones talking about welders on this forum

Wow, talk about off topic   ;D
Welding is great, couldn't have built the race car without it  it's also street registered and a total sleeper, not unlike myself (I have less welds, luckily)
Favourite welding is TIG and oxy, but at home I have a FCAW and a real mig. Have my eye on an inverter kemppi for about 2k, but I'm leaving that until I have a decent workshop set up.

No WAY am I transitioning on job. The blokey dynamic is hard enough for cisgender workers. The constant battling for who's alpha would be a ticket to the nuthouse.  We have one of those HR depts that couldn't walk the walk if they had robotic legs hooked up to a fusion reactor.

I've been self medding for a while, and no one messes with me too much (I tend to give worse than I get) but I don't know if I have the spine or the inclination to take the daily onslaught of mean jabs and snide remarks. The job's seriously not worth the fight.

I've been getting bloods done by the gp, so I can monitor my levels, but he's very worried about my t levels, so I'm putting off going back until I can go informed consent on him.

In interesting news, my gf has forgotten (through being drunk when we chatted no doubt) half the stuff we talked about. So the other day when I ordered injectable E she said it seemed like a lot to prevent osteoporosis ?!!??!
