"Two Disco Security Staff arrested after assault on female patron.

Police from Pattaya were called to the Marine Plaza Hotel in South Pattaya in the early hours of Saturday Morning after a complaint of assault was made against two security guards working at a disco at the Hotel. Based on the complaint made by Khun Nutrada aged 21, who had clearly sustained facial injuries, two of the security guards, Khun Griensuk aged 29 and Khun Wanit aged 30 were arrested. A canister of personal defense spray was seized as evidence. At the Police Station, the victim explained that she had gone to the Disco with a foreign companion. At the entrance to the disco, she claims the guards suggested she was in fact a transsexual and she was refused admission. She claims she showed her ID card which indicated she was in fact a woman. She was still refused entrance and at this point, the female victim confessed to spraying the two men in their faces. Both then proceeded to attack the woman. Despite the use of the spray, the woman was not charged and the two men were locked-up on charges of assault and will appear in court early next week."
