I'm just wondering because I don't have an endocrinologist I'm working with but I'm curious. Currently I'm on prescribed testosterone because of my XXY deficiencies. At the beginning of this year, my insurance changed and I was without it for about two months. During that time I felt sluggish and very tired to the point I was dragging most of the day even after a full night's sleep. Has anyone here had an issue like this when starting female hormones and was there a fix for it?

My T- levels have always been in the 80s, and have been there for a very long time. So I understand where you are coming form. I am hoping that when I start hormones this week that it will help.

I am approaching the 1 year mark since my decision to transition, and I am celebrating my 6th month on hrt.

If I don't take my 4 daily pumps of Androgel, my T would drop from approximately 290 to 63.

If you don't have testosterone or estrogen in your system then lethargy is a fairly common side effect. Testosterone will generally pump you up more than estrogen though.
