hi, my name is isaac. im 17. i've known i was trans male for a year and a half, but i didn't start come out and start transitioning until about august last year. i decided to finally join this forum after realizing that everyone's collective information and experiences have helped me a lot in discovering myself and making good choices about binding/packing/basically anything trans-related, and i want to help in these efforts.

as of right now im pre-t, pre-op... pre-everything. i wouldn't be if my family wasnt as unaccepting, unsupportive, and emotionally abusive as they are, but ive only got a year left with them, and im really trying my best right now. they're even threatening to take away my college fund if i change my name. it's just messed up.

i like to play lacrosse (im joining my school's boys team next year ;D), longboard, write, draw, etc... and i have a beautiful girlfriend named jamayka that i've been with for a year. i'm going into my senior year of high school, and im looking to go to college in california for film production and cinematography.

i also own 2 gc2b binders (you know i hopped right on it once i found out they were selling skin-tones), a sailor packer ( works well enough) and i use a coffee lid as an stp device. i might put a review of my sailor and share my experience with it to help others make a decision. im also standing between an ecprosthetics 3 in 1 and a basic bro STP packer from TSW. we'll see how that turns out.

im straight, and i present as masculinely as possible despite my skinny child body.

last weekend i spent a day at the trans health conference in philly and the next at the LGBT pride parade, and they were both incredible experiences. my girlfriend said at the THC i looked like a little kid in a candy store, i was just wandering around smiling so big. seeing everyone being authentic and not afraid to be themselves in public made me so happy. i felt safe for once, really safe. im definitely going again next year.

anyway, yeah. thats me. and no matter what my parents tell you, my name IS isaac, and i dont think im male. i AM.

thanks for reading about me, and i hope you have a nice day.

Welcome, Isaac,

Yeah, you definitely know better than your parents who you are.

You're fortunate to have an understanding girlfriend. Sounds like you're well on your way!

You've found a great site. Enjoy!

Hi Isaac, nice to meet you! Your situation actually sounds very much like mine, and you definitely know who you are and what you want; don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. Hope you enjoy the forum and getting to know all of us, I joined quite recently and it's been great.

Don't dream it, be it.
