I just want to die before things get too crazy for humanity.   >:(

Someday there will be an unstoppable world of artificial intelligence and when man will merge with machines. The only people I guess would care would be elderly people. I wish I could've grown up while my parents were, if not for society hating LGBT groups back then. I don't want humanity to become something else, I'm really depressed and hurt, and ensuring I die before the inevitable is the only way I can do something about it. I'm on the verge of tears as I type this. I'm speaking from the heart. I want to live my whole life ahead of me as a human being, but that's not going to last forever, and I only feel like I have a limited time during my lifetime to "smell the roses".

There's no legitimate skepticism that this won't occur in our lifetimes.

Its a very scary thing change is
i don't blame you for being scared and worried but i wouldn't cry because i don't think we are the brightest
when it comes to thinking ahead with new inventions but think we are smart enough to know that when that time comes it's gone to far. Trust me they wouldn't wouldn't let robots take over there jobs there would be a large debate
with a lot of fighting for freedom and i'm sure we would win because we are not computers we are people.
Don't be giving up on humanity just yet i'm sure you'll be living a long time before that happens and i highly doubt it'll go that far. And if it does they'll still be jobs the world will work itself out the world will figure itself out, there has been times iv'e had the same fears about the world ending or something silly happening that brings us all into our doom that's my anxiety for you. But look ahead, with a smile keep your hopes up and try not to drown yourself into them fears don't watch things that are scaring you because that isn't going to help. I know its hard to do that
but trust me, this world has a troubles, struggles, problems and i'm sure it isn't the complete end of them but there isn't away in hell america is going to end without a fight. And it won't be any time soon you'll get to live to have children, grandchildren if you want and i'm sure even they will live a good life. Heck maybe some of this intelligence from computers will help us learn our limits who knows. Last night i was scared about something ha ha then what i was scared about ( the person i was scared about) my best friend goes "Oh he isn't that bad most of what he say's is bad jokes and he probably has no clue what he even did wrong" And she calmed me down quickly next thing you know she had me laughing and playing video games. Think positive  ;D it'll be okay.

I agree, I was optimistic at the beginning, not believing it would be as extreme as it is, but it is hell on earth. I am a targeted individual and it is chaos! Along with transitioning & living within the sheltering system for three years almost, it has been a difficult experience, but in faith for the Lord's glory, the pain can subside.

Dealing with the complications of transition alone can make an individual hectic, overly critical & secluded from all others.
Exploitation is the tactic, and to "fall' is the agenda.

I suggest becoming or gaining knowledge within healing to maintain the stability, individualism & your journey.. It keeps me sane and I progress, detailing because stress alone, singly alters your mood, motives & health - body, mind, emotion.

so when the universe collapses upon itself or expands into nothingness, what's the point of worry

It might seem that there are more problems, but there are also more people to make more problems. The world population has doubled since last few hundred years. Terrorism has always existed. Even in our recent history: In the 1961, hundreds of peaceful protesting Algerians we're slaughtered by the French, they were drowned in the river Seine by raging crowds. 1961 ! while the so called "love" generation was coming on, hundreds were slaughtered in Paris and the story was buried.

War is always close, and eventually inescapable.

who cares if the world ends. we all will just go back to where we are from; to the stars and the netherworld for me.

I'm pretty much comfortable with the fact humanity is happy to rip itself to shreds.  I'm not exactly known for my love of other people though.

Like in the movies A.I. and Transcendence? Regards the former people are wayy tooo fearful and greedy to ever let machines develop that far for sure. The economies of the world are already tottering on the brink of destruction a new Dark Age is more likely (and which is how the latter movie ends)

According to Ezekiel, the last great Old Testament prophet, 2/3rds the world's population will perish from "the sword", "pestilence & starvation"  before a real humanity ever starts to take hold again.

I plan on surviving best I can: have my own power, water and food supplies want to build a 'fallout shelter" as well!!

Be careful what you "wish for"! I live in the town where THE WALKING DEAD is filmed!!! I consider myself forewarned . . . YOU SHOULD TOO!! We 'ave become utterly ridiculous - there will be no 'public restrooms' to pee in after the electric pumps, not to mention drains, don't work at all!!

I help rebuild U.S. "infrastructure" every day this country is FALLING APART fast!!
Quote from: Was here just yesterday . . . Bellwood Quarry is used for film and TV shoots, including ''The Hunger Games''; which had a scene at this spot, and ''The Walking Dead.''
Reminds me of The Grand Canyon . . . for thirty days backup water supply only?? The neighborhood around it is a complete GHETTO! SOMEONE is gonna 'ave to GO!!!
"But it's no use now," thought poor Alice, "to pretend be two people!
"Why, there's hardly enough of me left to make one respectable person!"

I spent many years hiking, camping, climbing and other such outdoor activities.  I'm more than fine with no public toilets come post apocalyptia.
