Subcutaneous vs intramuscular injection. I feel no pain over sub but i dont know if its ok, knowing by absorption. Is it also 100%?

Rachel

My doctor prescribed and had me trained for IM. Perhaps you should ask your doctor.

Same for me. IM. But many transmen and a few transwomen do it subcutaneously with good results. Talk with your doctor.

Yea he said it was supposed to be im but i cant tolerate the pain. Theres some kind of electric feeling. I feel better on sub

Barb99

I was on e pills for a year and could never get my levels up where the doc wanted them. Switched to injections subcutaneously 2 months ago and levels shot up to double where we wanted to be, had to cut my dosage in half.
So yes, great results subcutaneously.

I do it in the buttocks and never feel any kind of pain or electric feeling. My levels are quite high, up to 4,000 pg/ml. My doctors (3 of them) see no reason to reduce dose due to levels. Levels are up to 75,000 in pregnant women.
