So here's the deal. I have an appointment at an LGBTQ clinic an hour and a half away from me in 2 months to start the ball rolling on starting HRT.  I made this appointment 2 months ago.

So lately I've just been getting super frustrated and annoyed with the waiting game.   I decided to call all of the Planned Parenthood in my state and none of them offer HRT.  There is one in the state above me that does but it's a 4 hour drive one way.

I'm seriously considering doing it. At the same time I feel silly for not being able to wait another 2 months.  How do I stop my impatience from getting the best of me?

Ye. The worst time, you pluck up the courage and make the decision and then --wait.

It doesn't matter your age, it is the worse wait, and recognised as such by the medics.

So what do we do?
You design yourself. You are a young man I think? Lost the profile info, so start learning how men your age act and interact, you are your unique self but we still need to fit in for our safety factor.

How do men talk, what about, how do they act in public, inter relate. What are the social differences between men and women that you need to understand.

You live your life as you wish but knowing the background rules really helps to be the person you want to be.

Waiting is definitely hard. Driving for a living doesn't help any. Hard to direct my mind away from trans related stuff when I have no way to occupy it for 10 hours a day.  I guess I should try to focus more on being thankful that I ONLY have 2 months to go.

Then again, I know once I get T my focus will shift to waiting for changes to happen and then waiting for Top surgery to happen and then...

Waiting just sucks. OK, I'm done ranting for now.

Haha oh man can I relate

Congrats on hormones at least, bud. It sucks waiting, but hey being grateful you are at last getting somewhere is worth it. It'll make the time you finally walk in and get it that much awesomer.

Just bide your time reflecting and practicing and just doing life as a man, I guess. Strike off days on a calender. Time ends up being shorter than you think and its always funny looking back and forgetting what you used to be

I'm going to make the 4 hour drive to the Planned Parenthood clinic and get things started. I talked to the other clinic closer to me and got it worked out so I will keep my appointment with them and they will just take over my care at that time. They offer therapy along with HRT so that's awesome.

Im feeling super excited now that my T day has moved from 2 months to less than 2 weeks.
