Looking for a new place to live and wondering if anyone here knows of a roommate site that is trans-specific or LGBT specific. For those of you who have heard me talk in chat about this sorry to bring this up. For those who haven't...

I have been living in the same apartment building since 2001. It's a public housing building. But due to issues with the management and tenants I don't feel safe. A large part of this has to do with another resident tenant...something that I have talked about at length in chat. Basically this person was attempting to intimidate me out of transitioning. So finally I reported this person to the onsite manager of my building. The OSM did actually talk to him. But a few weeks after making this report I got a "pay or quit" notice on my door. And there's more on that part of it.

Another thing here is that I am wheelchair bound {this is temporary and due to a knee injury; hoping to get walking aids until I can actually walk again} and both the bathroom and the kitchen are too small for the wheelchair and the OSM refuses to make adjustments.

Looking for a house-share situation possibly for right now. I found out that I can keep my gvt benefits and buy a house at the same time. But want to get out of apartments for good. And do the roommate thing til that happens.

Any thoughts??
