Hey guys!

I've been popping in and out of Susan's for a while now. It's been about six months since I realized the true nature of this discomfort I've been feeling my whole life and finally came to terms with being a transguy. As I'm sure many of you can relate; my life has simultaneously gotten both 100 times better and 100 times worse. At first I was on the fence, unsure of my gender identity and I stumbled upon Susans. I talked with others in the chat (perhaps you've seen me there in the past few months) and realized this wasn't something I could just run from. So now here I am! Just wanted to say you guys were all so welcoming to me and very helpful. When I was hearing nothing but discouraging things from my parents you guys were my support. Even convinced me to come out to my friends (which went amazing by the way).

Now I'm focusing on becoming a new me, or rather an old me. The me I've always been but till now was too afraid to show. And I seriously have to thank those on this site for helping me to get where I am. I'm still pre-everything and trying to work up the nerve to call the gender therapist I was reffered to. But hey! Progress! Though the wait is slowly starting to kill me, I feel lucky I figured this out so soon but still... 19 years is a long time to be living a lie. Bought my first binder a few days ago and waiting anxiously for it to be shipped! Wish me luck!

I've never been one to be involved in communities of any kind really. But hey! I'm going to try!

Now that I've gone and bored you all and gotten incredibly off track here's a little about me. I'm a 19 year old college student majoring in Philosophy and Political Science. A future lawyer (hopefully) who will probably spend the majority of his time on this forum pestering others for fitness advice or ranting about video games, politics, or who knows what else.

You've been warned!

Sete, welcome to Susan's Place.  I'm glad you've "made it official" here, so to speak. And feel free to "pester" us about anything!

Well, almost anything... here's some info you should check out to help you figure out what the pestering boundaries are, among other things:

Never bring an umbrella to a coyote fight.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
