Hey folks,

I'm in the process of going through my consultations, and other people's stories, here, are fantastic resources. The area that I don't feel like I have a good sense about is the lifecycle of hairline scars. I think I'm probably looking for a scalp advancement, but not forehead contouring. And the final scar does worry me somewhat irrationally.

I've looked at a lot of before and after photos and I feel like, in some, the scar is very apparent and in others, I can't see a scar at all.

Can anyone share their experience with hairline scars? How visible was it at the 1-month, 3-month, 1-year, 2-year and beyond stage? Does the scar rest flat, or does it have some depth? Did your surgeon go over it with a fractional laser?

Mine is visible (not super noticeable) but I also didn't take care of it as well as I should. Had I done that an followed the protocol closely, I think it would be hardly visible at all.

Mine has a little depth but it's very little.

Thanks.

For what it's worth, I was just checking out your YouTube videos, today, and they've been a great resource.

I'm interested in this too because I'll be looking at a hairline scar for my FFS in November.

How many months post-op are you and it's showing? I've heard it still shows after 1-2 months depending on how you scar. Curious about hair regrowth in the area too. I had hair transplants a couple years back so if I remember right it took many months for that hair to grow back in to a decent length.
