Do Dr. Raphael's quotes include hospital/anesthesia/etc.?

Hi, all. I'm trying to save up for surgery so I've been looking around for estimates. I'm kind of limited in options since I live in Arkansas, but Dr. Raphael seems to be very respected and about the closest I can get. I'd just like to know approximately how much I should save up before scheduling a consultation.

I've seen Dr. Raphael estimated at $6-7k (which I'm not taking as gospel, since I know it varies), but I'm wondering if that includes the hospital and anesthesia fees, pathology fees, post-surgery compression garments, etc.? I've had surgery before and there were unexpected, rather large costs because I didn't know to ask these things. It would also be helpful if you included an approximate price if you included the liposuction option since I'll probably need it.

Thanks for any help you can give, guys. I appreciate it.

Best bet would be to ask his office directly, or ask where he performs his procedures at. Even if your insurance won't cover the procedure itself, it may cover any associated hospital fees.

I had surgery with a different surgeon who uses her own operating room. My total spend was $8500 including her fee, anesthesia, and operating expenses. I believe that most of the time surgeons are listing a flat fee that is all inclusive, but I know some folks have been billed afterward for pathology. Not sure if anyone received separate bills for anesthesia or hospital fees.
