Hi
Very soon I have an appointment with ATOS Healthcare, who will assess me for P.I.P, which I am claiming from the DWP, as they class Gender Disphoria as a Mental disorder/illness. Does anyone out there know the correct way I should approach this so that I can be approved of receiving this benefit. I have payed my taxes all my working life, so I feel that if there is a benefit that I am entitled to, then I should receive it without having to jump through hoops, which have probably been set up so as to deliberately trip me up whatever I say. I feel like it would be right for me to just go into the interview and slap down my letters from "The West London Mental Health" department on their desk, and then say absolutely nothing.... except "Goodbye", when it comes to leaving.
If anyone else has had to go through this then please could you help me with some advice. Thank you.

Hi, the forum rules request you do not cross post in other sections of the site. I am deleting those other posts.

Hi Grace, I was unsure which was the best place to put it so that it would be seen by someone who might be able to help me. I'll stop putting it anywhere else, now that you have told me. Thanks

I think the best section for you for this would be Transgender talk, more people are likely to see it. I'll move it there for you.
