More like over thinking?

I had a terrible dream the other night where I came out to my family.

The same family that adores Trump, thinks LGBTQA people are monsters and freaks, and wants to deport Muslims. Etc Etc

So it went well as much as I am fearing it would.

Doing my best not to think about it. Since it is only a dream. Trying to think about how my friends (my chosen family really) love and support me.

Also how warm and accepting these boards are. Even if I haven't been on here in a while, sorry about that.

Thinking about how wrong I was in my last post on this thread. I'm weak, pathetic, useless, stupid, nobody's going to accept me. I probably will become another statistic and end it all. And even through death, people will STILL misgender me. They'll STILL claim that I'm something I'm not. They will never accept me and I think all this struggle is pointless now... I love my kids, but they need someone good in their life who is smart, strong, capable, useful to society, someone who can teach them to reach their fullest potential...

I'm thinking I'm glad I'm not moderating message boards any more...  :icon_eek:

Atom

Leading on from the "happy" thread:

My partner, who I'm head over feet in love with has flipped my mind into suspicion and "what the hell do you want?" mode.  By being nice. That's it.

Atom needs to play better with others and trust more.  She is also quite difficult to live with. #Resolution2017

I'm thinking that I've been incredibly lucky in finding this forum, at this time in my life.   While getting started on this path has done me a lot of good physically; opening up a little in a group setting that I can survive contact with, has opened huge pathways to the future for me.

there will be a kind, gentle, compassionate rw, in no small part because of susans.org

thank you.

That's how I feel about this site. Yesterday was possibly the most dysphoric day I've had yet. I attended a wedding and because my partner was part of the wedding party, I got pressured into wearing a dress and make up. I've come out to my partner many times since December of last year but he really didn't understand how much of a guy I really am until at 2 in the morning where I explained to him how painful it is to have manhood denied since birth. If it weren't for this website I wouldn't have been able to cope as well and find the courage to explain my identity as best as I could. Knowing that I wasn't alone in this helped tremendously.

Is it just me, or did the style of the forums change a bit????

I'm thinking my bank knows how much of a slob I was, I bought a shirt at a nice department store and tripped every one of their fraud warning services.   Its a well designed system so it didn't cause any inconvenience; but dang, that was harsh.
