Just a reintroduction, I am Kellsie and I have actually been on Susan's Place since 2010, but I forgot my old password so I just created a new account. I have been transitioning since 2009, and I've had a lot happen since then.  I am grateful for this site and all of the resources that are available.

Kellsie,

Welcome back. I have not been here that long, so I don't remember you. However, there are some that have been here for quite a while.

A few things have changed since then but most of our site's rules and regs are covered in the following info:

This is mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to look through them, please take a moment:

this is my story.

At about age 4 I knew I was different because I wanted to hang out and be one of the girls, when a boy made fun of me I took a pair of scissors and cut his hair.  It was shortly after that, that my parents made the decision to move to Florida.  I got in my first fight at age five because I was being made fun of for hanging out with some of the girls on the playground.  At age 7 my mom kidnapped my brother and I and returned to Michigan.  We were back roughly 6 months when my mom had my 17 year old cousin babysit us, it was after sending my brother to bed that he molested me, and proceeded to rape me.  My mother knew something was wrong with me, and after a little prodding, I told her.  She told my aunt, and my cousin got a whooping from my uncle for it.  Nothing else was ever said about the subject. By age 9 I was hiding my moms underwear and putting them on after going to bed.  The next morning I would secretly put them back.  By age 10 I moved in with my dad, (who found us when I was 8 years old and got visitation), after moving in with my dad, he had a new wife and I proceeded to secretly hide my feelings.  I was depressed because I couldn't be myself, plus the fact that my parents were divorced.  It was the following year, I started hiding my step sisters things and was dressing at night and hiding things between my mattress.  My dad started beating me after he found them, which compounded my depression, so I began to get in fights in school as well. By the time I was 14 I had, had enough and decided to move back to my mom's, thinking things would be better.
As it turned out, my mom had remarried and my step dad also started being physically abusive as well as mentally.  My bedroom was in the basement so I was able to dress at night with my mom's clothes which helped a little bit.  I was always depressed and I found ways to cope because I knew I had to get through school.  I saw my dad once during my High school years and he told me I couldn't make it four years in the infantry.  So I went into the delayed entry program and upon graduation I enlisted.  While in the military I got married, had a daughter, and upon returning from Korea, my wife divorced me.  Having no place to go, I returned to Michigan and I found employment. I found a place to live and a year later got remarried.  I was married to my second wife for 13 years when I finally came out to her and began to seek counseling.  The last year of my marriage, my mom decided she wanted nothing to do with me as did my other family.  While at an appointment, my wife texted me and said she wanted a divorce.  I got upset, and I posted on Facebook that I wanted to die.  Needless to say, I was taken to the hospital by law enforcement for a psych evaluation.  I was depressed even more because I just lost my wife, and while on the psych unit, I found out I lost my job, and a restraining order was issued against me by my wife.  I was there for ten days, when I was released, I found out I was also homeless and my vehicle was repossessed.  I found myself at the homeless shelter, where they helped me get a part time job, and helped me file my claim with the VA.  A month at the shelter and I met my wife now. I proposed four days after meeting her.  By November of 2011, her and I had found a home, and I got my first part of my claim, which allowed me to buy my first vehicle.  While employed, my boss called me stupid and a few other things, so I quit my job. Thankfully the VA payed me enough that I didn't have to work, the following year, I got my psych evaluation by CMP exam where it was deemed that I was unemployable.  I received the second back pay, and was able to buy my second vehicle and move us to Louisiana.  We spent a year in Louisiana, and while there, my wife's mom died.  We moved back to Michigan 8 months after her passing.  After being back in Michigan  five months we got legally married.  That is where I am at now,  except the endo has since prescribed micronized progesterone, which I am currently waiting to be delivered, as the medroxyprogesterone and estradiol didn't do much for breast growth.  Will keep everyone updated.

Kellsie,

Can you give me more info you would have included in the old account. I have a number of Kira's show up when I search the name. One even has the username you are using as your first name right now. However, I am not sure how much I can help if I am not sure specifically.

I can tell you that if you try to log in using your old user name and you attempt the password, it will tell you the password was wrong. However it should prompt with a link that says something like "Forget your password". It should guide you through the steps to resetting.

Good luck,

With warmth,

Joanna
