Hi , i actually sent this to the admin in order to join but i think it will make a good introduction
My name is mark I am 53 yrs male
I have been doing a lot of research on mtf I've had a very deep and emotional intrest in transgender for a very long time and finally realised  and admitted to myself that there is something different about me
it is only because of the internet I have finally been able to pin point what has always been ..coming from Australia and being born in new zealand in the early days my soft characteristics while a child were suppressed and then being part of the status quo for so long  not stepping out of the mold i totally  rejected what was staring me in the face ...guess i thought it impossible anyway
I aways wondered why i was so facinated by mtf
Now I know , disturbing confusing, but I think transgender people are such courageous individuals three things I admire strength, honesty, courage I think Transgender people imcompass all of these ...I feel that its too little to late for me still with the technolgy avaliable anything is possible these days , so I am timidly dipping my toes in the water at this time

Welcome to Susan's Place. It's never to late to start on the road to self discovery. If you look around on the site you will discover a number of others 10 years older than you are who are just starting as well. I have only been on the site a little over a year and I have watch them advance from where you are to the point were they are receiving HRT and move into the world as themselves. As for me, I completed my transition in 1982 so I am one of the very old timers. I have lived more than half my life as a woman and I can tell you that it was worth all the effort I had to put into it. If there is anything I can help you with, let me know.
Rebirth Date 1982 - PMs are welcome - Use dena@susans.org or Discord if your unable to PM - Skype is available - My Transition

Hi Markie,  As for "too little too late", You'll discover after reading a few of the posts here (if you haven't already) that there are MANY of us who are late bloomers as someone else called it.  I'll be 68 in a few months and, I would encourage you to not evaluate your particular situation by comparing it to that of anyone else.  A warm welcome to you.
