Is there an age were someone would be to old to start Hormone treatment

The age that is too old is the same day they put you underground.  It is never too late and for someone with dysphoria, HRT is a godsend.
Love is not obedience, conformity, or submission. It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being....  - Dan Barker

I do agree I hope the world keeps growing in the direction to except us as who we are and that thy would be happy to see all of us happy For me I am doing my thing living the dream and staying happy and I am healthier now that I am working on this change in my body  makes me care more about what I eat and how I look and Its fun to take time out to make sure I look good and feel clean

No, you're able to start hormones at any age
and despite what some people say it'll work at any age

There are a lot of considerations to hormones and transition but don't let age be one... Never too late to get on the right path in life
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment" ... Ralph Waldo Emerson 🌸

"The individual has always had to struggle from being overwhelmed by the tribe... But, no price is too high for the privilege of owning yourself" ... Rudyard Kipling 🌸

Let go of the things that no longer serve you... Let go of the pretense of the false persona, it is not you... Let go of the armor that you have worn for a lifetime, to serve the expectations of others and, to protect the woman inside... She needs protection no longer.... She is tired of hiding and more courageous than you know... Let her prove that to you....Let her step out of the dark and feel the light upon her face.... amg🌸

I started about 10 years ago and I'm 67 now.  Still taking hormones with no problems. I believe the only reason I'm still here is because of hormones and transition. I wouldn't let age stop anyone unless a doctor has a specific medical reason.

interesting, are you too old or too young to be who you are. if the angel of death came to my bedside and raised the sickle and said the I could be the woman that I cried for to be since I was born . but I would only be allowed 15 minutes of life beyond that time that was already ordained to be the woman I am would I accept it.

I'm 62 and started recently.  My therapist indicated there are patients in that office over 70 on HRT.
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

I started at 35.  Estrogen is the fountain of youth...  What you do is take your time on hormones and add 10, then average that number with your current age and you get your new age...  lol...  So I'm really like 23 now.  ;)
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

I like that equation, that would make me just over 34  ;D

I started HRT at age 65 and I feel so much better now. I love the feeling of estradiol.

I'm 43 and have been on hrt only 2 months. I want a bump up in dosage, but feel great!
They must find it difficult, those who have taken authority as truth, rather than truth as authority.
