Hello, all.
I have finally, finally found a place to get testosterone! I started last week so it's only my fifth day on testosterone.
I bought myself a little book that I'm writing everything in, from my appetite to being sick to feelings. I will discuss everything with my doctor again in June.
So far I've noticed very few things, which I expected no changes yet. I will list each effect and concern, along with a question if there's one I have for that particular statement.
1. I'll start with the first thing I noticed. When injected, it doesn't hurt and I wasn't too nervous. However, I could actually feel the testosterone enter my body. They say it's a thick solution so I'm guessing that's why, but the feeling was unsettling. It made me nauseous and I felt very faint. I felt nauseous all day and after four hours had a bad headace. The next day I was fine. I'm hoping this goes away within the next few shots because it sucks. Thank God my shot day is my day off each week. What does your shot make you feel if anything at all?
2. I got sick. This might be a coincidence but I'm stating it anyway. I started coughing, then came congestion, and then breathing problems. There are too many factors to pin point the cause but the options are testoserone, sick coworker, and mold caused my flooded apartment. I heard many people get sick after their first shot so I threw it in as a maybe.
3. ENERGY. This one is huge. Was months now ice been sleeping 12-16 hours a day. The last three days I've slept 8-9 and feel GREAT despite being sick. I'm so happy because I can finally get to the gym again and not sleep my day away.
4. Appetite and hunger. So my hunger has decreased at meal time. I can't eat much at all. Example, I bought chick fil a today and could only eat five of the nuggets and no fries at all compared to always finishing the meal in the past. I do eat more often though. So I eat less more often. Instead of meals, I snack throughout the day but still not consuming more than I did last week. My appetite comes and goes. Even when I'm hungry I have no appetite for things. Everything jut sounds gross at times until twenty minutes later and suddenly everything sounds amazing.
5. My "downstairs" feels weird. I have to keep adjusting my pants and open my legs more than I used to. It doesn't hurt, it just feels..weird. it doesn't seem to look different but I'm not 100% sure if it's different. Anyone else have it feel weird after taking testosterone? Does it feel funny as it grows? Do you become more aware of it on a daily basis as it grows since it's a new feeling?
