I am changing fast although I use only half of the regular dose. Is this normal?

Don't get me wrong, I am teally happy about changes that are going on but I was told that it woud be slower. I am using T that comes in a gel form. I take only half of the regular dose per day. After 8 weeks I should start using the full dose. Should I maybe contact the doctor before I start taking the full dose and request for them to check my levels? If I absorb the gel better than usually I won't need the full dose, right? The extra T in my system would just turn into estrogen. I just need some perspective on this.

It's been only 17 days. My voice started changing immediately. My throat was sore in the second day. Now my voice has gotten low and it's cracking occasionally. It has gone from female to androgynous I think. I am able to pass thanks to it too. That has never happened before. Yesterday I had to introduce myself to some new people. They were looking at me funnily (of course thinking about my sex/gender) until I told my name that is very male. I passed as a naturally androgynous man/boy. No one was giving me odd looks after that like they would have before. The puzzle was solved and since I wear regular masculine stuff and don't act "too feminine" I became somewhat normal in their eyes. I thought this would happen much later. Not right away. I am not complaining since I really enjoy this.

I got some new peach fuzz on my face (I started to shave it) and the bottom growth has happened. I am loosing weight and my thighs and ass seem to loose fat very fast (seriously, where did dat ass go?). My muscles feel weird too.

Is my body just prone to go through the puberty very fast? Is that even a thing? The first one was done very fast and early too. My levels pre-T shouldn't have been very high since nobody has contacted me after the blood test that was taken pre-T. Should I get my levels checked now? According to my knowledge things shouldn't progress this fast with this dose. All I thought I should be experiencing at this point is oily skin according to my knowlrdge. Is this dose actually the full dose for me? There are differences on how well people absorb this gel but I have never heard of people who would absorb it too much.

I have seen members who used estrogen patches and weren't able high enough levels while others have had to cut back so skin absorption can vary from person to person. If you seem to be proceeding at a sufficiently fast pace, you should check with your doctor and the plan may change to have you remain on the current dosage until your next visit. It takes a while for the levels to become steady so it would be best to wait between 1 and 3 months before running another blood test so you get a better picture of the status of your body.

Maybe it's because you had high T levels before starting T? I was on full dose of gel but was still surprised at how well my body took to it. My voice started cracking in the first 2 weeks when I was told it wouldn't happen until 1-6 months plus I noticed some bottom growth within the first month. I'm quite a chubby chunky guy so didn't notice the fat redistribution as early as you have.

I'm no expert so I'd discuss your concerns with your doctor.  Sorry I can't offer better advice but congrats on starting T :)

I started on a half dose of gel and had everything but fat redistribution in the first month. It definitely happens. I don't think it's anything to be concerned about. Some people's body chemistry just reacts very well to T, some people need more for a more prolonged period of time to see the same things.

Changes are caused by T converting into DHT, so that just depends on your body. Changes aren't that well correlated with T levels. I also started on a low dose and had exactly the changes you're talking about right away (although my voice started so high that it took months for anyone to notice it deepening besides me). My reference levels of T pre injection were not elevated.

You probably should have your levels checked before you change your dose. By the time you do that who knows how you will be responding. Your correct dose can change over time, you know.
