Would they look ok (acceptable) in public? Haven't seen any guys in an undo with claw clips so I don't really know...

I know I'm balding and still haven't started rogaine or propecia (cause I need to take them pretty much for life) - although I know I'll need to pretty soon...

Main reason for an "updo" is to avoid having hair in my face when I bend down, plus it's just too hot having it in a plain ponytail) (Ok I admit, I think it looks better this way )

Seems fine to me.  I've worn my hair that way for years; even before I ever considered I might be trans*.

I've never seen a guy using the clips.
Hair bands and ties yes. I've used donuts too, but never clips.
