Hi All, After a few months of not having internet on the boat (I live on one on the SF Bay) I have just 20 minutes ago gotten reconnected on the boat.  Plus I got a raise today at work from my boss, which is not too bad either.  So all in all I'm doing pretty good. So what have I missed.

My friend built a Model Taj Mahal house boat for some friends in the bay area.
Ive always wanted to go there.
I used to live in Mt. Shasta and never got arround to going to the Bay Area.

Doesn't Verison and other carriers sell wirelss cards for their networks?

well I had wifi but the service has been down for quite some time.  So yes I went back to a Verizon cell card on the laptop.  A little pricy but I can use it anchored out which is not too bad.  Boat life is interesting sometimes, but I do love it.  I also sail my boat on the bay some too.  It fits my lifestyle, but it's not for everyone.  Living in a bit under 200 sf get's interesting.  Of course I also have a deck I can lounge on, during sunny weather, plus it moves.
