Biological Riley

Hello all.

Long time lurker and first time poster. I have been transgender since before I even knew what being transgender meant. Due to my religious conservative upbringing, I denied the fact that I could be transgender because I viewed anything LGBT related as "wrong and immoral" (It's something I'm ashamed of, but I'm a better person now). I'm currently a few months in to HRT and liking the results so far. However, I still have problems with anxiety, depression, and OCD (this in particular is a real pain in the ass).

Sorry for being brief. I'm a lil sleepy and wanted to at least get an introduction done tonight.

Welcome to Susan's Place. Many of us take wrong turns in life and you aren't the first on the site to have religion direct them in the wrong direction. Congratulations on starting HRT and I think you will find this site a very useful resource in your transition. If there is anything I can help you with, let me know.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Hi!  I'm just another member here, but I wanted to to say hello and let you know that you are definitely welcome here.  This place has lots of good, friendly people, and has been a wonderful source of comfort and help.

You're in the right place.   Now go get some sleep. :)

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Thank you all for welcoming me to the site!

I'm kind of an introvert so maybe responding to a few posts every now and then will help me come out of my shell.

Thank you again
