Hi, I am planning on FFS, probably with Facial Team.
However, I am a bit worried. I have a high hairline, and I cannot afford to raise it further back.
Since I need filling of temples with transplants I would need a coronal incision with immediate hair transplants (where they take a strip of skin off of your head). But wouldn't this draw my hairline further back because 1cm of skin is missing?? Am I better off doing a coronal incision but without hair transplants and only do the transplants at a later stage, post-FFS, taking hair from the back of my head affecting the hairline less?
With a coronal incision without transplants, do they still take a strip of skin out at the incision? I guess they don't , right? I've heard someone say that a strip of skin - 1cm - is always lost when doing a coronal incision, however, this seems weird - why would that be the case? Thanks for your help
