Hi there 🙋🏻

My name is Sandra.  Stumbled onto this site some time ago though admittedly don't read it much.  Decided it was time I joined.  I'm a 41 year old Trans woman mid way through transition.  Been on HRT for 10 months now, out to immediate family and a couple of friends.  Like many, my life is complicated to say the least.  I'm still married to a woman I adore.  She knows everything about me and is struggling with it all.  My kids know as well.  So far they have been ok and don't seem to care much, so long as my relationship with them remains unchanged.  They are on the younger side, 8yo and a 10yo.  I'm not yet out at work, and with the hormones, hiding is starting to become somewhat of a challenge.  Interesting times for sure.

Glad to be here

Sandra,

Welcome to the site.

I am 51 and in a similar spot. A few months less on HRT, only one of my three knows but every thing else is pretty similar. Very interesting times, indeed.

There is a lot of support here.

I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to look through them, please take a moment:

Things that you should read

Once again, welcome to Susan's. Look around, ask questions and join in.

With warmth,

Welcome Sandra,

I expect that there are many on this site in a similar life position. I am a bit older, a shorter time on hrt and out to some of my family...and yes, there are  plenty of challenges and opportunities ahead. I look forward to hearing more of your journey, shared stories, successes and problems help us all grow and appreciate this unique life all the more.

Warm regards,
Anne
