Hello.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any companies that don't mind if their male employees have long hair.

I'm looking for a second job because the job I'm at right now pays almost minimum wage, but I'd like to try and find a place that won't have a problem with long hair.

I probably wouldn't have to worry about it if I were openly trans, since my city has anti discrimination laws, but I'd rather not have a lot of people know, so I'll be presenting as male.

Does anyone here know which companies allow it?

I should probably mention that I live in the U.S. and that I'd be looking for an entry level job.

Thank you.

Many places don't have problems with hair as long as it's properly maintained. Should you work in the food industry, you might be required to wear a hair net same as women in order to contain anything from falling in the food. My suggestion would be to have it professionally trimmed with your target style in mind and maintain it properly. A few jobs have restrictions because you are dealing with the public or because of safety issues but in most cases, the hair shouldn't much of a problem

I'm a dishwasher and wear my hair in a ponytail and tucked under my hat to pass as male.
