Okay so I've looked through several sites so far and I found several therapists I liked, including one in Hollywood Florida, but sadly I'm reliant on my father to get around, and he refuses to drive that far. Honestly, if one of us were to have their leg blown off and the only hospital that could help was an hours drive away he'd just stay here and bleed to death.

I live near Coral Springs Florida, and my insurance is Medicare. Does anyone know of ANY therapists who, in however many appointments it takes, that can write me the letter I need to start HRT, and is within like 2 or 3 miles of coral springs. And takes Medicare?

My father is lazy as all hell and refuses to drive far as I said, and also extremely cheap, so even though it's my money he won't take me to anyone who doesn't except my insurance.

I came up  with some possibles and AnonyMs came up with a really  good possibility in this thread. How did they  work out?

Marcia Schultz sounds perfect, sadly she doesn't take medicare...

I found these three close by who do, and in the issues category it lists transgender, not sure how good they are though.

The first and the last look the most promising. I think it comes down to asking them questions before the appointment. You would be interested in knowing how many transgender patients have they treated and are they able to  write letters. You may also be interested in knowing if they have a TG group as well. If they are still equal, you might look for one you can reach by walking, riding a bicycle or with public transportation without your parents assistance.

Oh they're both close enough that my father won't mind driving to them. We drive somewhat further every Sunday when visiting my grandmother.
