So whilst I'm still early in my transition (pre T .etc) I'm also a smoker and I was wondering if it's dangerous to smoke whilst you're on T?
I don't know whether it would be better to give up now or not? ???

It would be better to give it up yesterday; but today will do.
Seriously.  And not just smoking, but any nicotine or other artificial stimulants.

Swapping hormone dominance in your body is an extremely powerful and life altering chemistry experiment; you really don't want any extra complications than are necessary.

Well its dangerous to smoke with on or off T....
I've known people to have problems (blood clot in lungs, etc) smoking while on E.
Personally I wouldn't take my chances smoking while on either E or T.

Smoking is bad no matter what medication you're on.

I was smoking when I first started T. I have since quit smoking. I did not notice any issues, but obviously I don't know about long term.

It's better to quit now than later, especially if you're going to have any surgeries.

My doctor wasn't too happy about my smoking when I was starting HRT. I went cold turkey before I had my top surgery in late summer 2013, been without a puff ever since.

T increases the risk of certain cardiovascular diseases, and so does smoking.

Ah thank you for the information!
I'm not sure i'm ready to give up smoking just yet as it helps w/ the voices in my head. I think I'll try and give up after I smoked all the remaining cigarettes but like I said not sure when I'd be ready since i'm p much addicted to them. :CC
