I'm two weeks post op having my forehead reconstruction. My understanding is my sinus was almost entirely in the right side and absent on the left. The surgeon removed/shaped/replaced bone on the right side and burred down the solid bone on the left to make it all match. So far so good. However, how much swelling around the eyes is normal and how long to see the final results? My eyelids have always been great, but my right eyelid looks droopy and puffy. I emailed the surgeon and he said it is swelling and will rectify in time. It kinda makes sense...the procedure was more invasive on my right-hand side, so would you assume a puffy lid on that side is related? He indicated there are not nerves involved in the procedure which disrupt that area of the eye. Any experiences with similar, ladies?

12 days here, i still have wonderful red upper eyelids and some bruising still under my eyes/cheek area. It is going away a little bit each day, still applying an ice pack daily as well to the area morning and night.

Thanks for the info. The docs don't seem to talk about eye/brow swelling much.
