I'm going post op next month still haven't asked anything about scars? Some have minor scars some don't I guess. Can anyone describe the scars they have if its noticable also if they were noticable at first how long until the scars faded enough so it wasn't obvious??

If you are bushy down there at the beginning it will mask it better. If you are not, the scars will be noticeable or maybe not depending on how your healing goes. Mine are still quite noticeable but it has faded pretty well compared to the beginning after almost 2 yrs.

With modern surgical procedures, scars can be reduced to a thin line that looks much like a skin fold. The days of the big ugly scar is pretty much in the past. I have an incision on center of my neck from when they worked on my adams apple and nobody has noticed it unless I point it out.

There are many techniques for SRS and I'm sure the scars have improved over the years form more practice but it's just hard to see what improvements have been made with SRS because there are limited pictures in my opinion and I could only recall finding one or two videos on YouTube and they aren't recent. I think there needs to be more data and videos on the new surgeries

I think I answered your question elsewhere as well, but I have no visible scars now. Which actually makes me less likely to supply pictures, because it just looks like my vulva now - in other words, private parts. 😉

Read somewhere  in here bowers does a new technique where the scar is not seen.

I'm only a little over 2 weeks post op and my scar seems to be healing well. Im applying coconut oil on it nighty to help heal. I don't think it's going to be that visible, especially since it's only about 2" long. If it is I'll just have a landing pad to cover it lol

Kelo-kote is supposed to work. I believe it's scientifically proven.
