Hello all. My name is Tori and I'm ready for surgery. I'm 18 right now and I transitioned back in 2010. I've been wanting surgery ever sense then and I need to find a doctor. My insurance covers SRS but only in the US (I live in Florida.) Does anyone have any reccomendations? I want great results (as any girl does) and I'm willing to pay for the best surgery I can get. I have been saving up my entire life for this. Thank you all so much!

Welcome to Susan's Place. When I transitioned, it pretty much boiled down to one surgeon. Now there are over half a dozen in the United states and each has it's advantages and disadvantages. There are two types of surgeries, Penis inversion and surgeries designed to use other tissue or grafts to make up the difference. External appearance can differ, sensitive may be different and depth can be a difference as well. Thus there is not best surgery for everybody and it's more a case of what's best for you. Look around the site, figure out what your surgical goals are and others will be glad to suggest surgeons.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

I personally like Suporn, but he's in Thailand. You said you have insurance, but having been saving up for it. Do you need to use the insurance? I've also noticed that insurance is often limited to specific surgeons, and in some cases they are almost unknown.

If you want to look up Suporn have a look at this

Hi Tori,

You are further along than I am. So, I am of no help to you. However, there are a lot of members that probably can.

Glad to see you.

With warmth,
