I'm just curious how many of you found that you had less back pain after top surgery. I have a pretty big chest. I think I'm a D cup at this point. And I'm having a lot of back pain even though I don't really bind. I'm hoping to get top surgery sometime next year and hoping some of the back pain will go along with it.

I had fairly significant back pain pre-op. I wasn't particularly large chested, but binding combined with the kind of work I was doing and everything that came with it gave me a lot of chronic pain.

After I recovered from surgery, the pain was better. My posture had improved a lot, which I think was contributing to the pain. I have fibromyalgia, so I'll probably never be totally pain free, but it's much better now than it was before. I still want to see a chiropractor to see if there's any underlying issues that could be resolved, but if there aren't, where I'm at now in terms of pain is very manageable.

That's encouraging to hear! My posture is also terrible and I'm sure that's not helping. I'm really curious to see how top surgery will affect these things for me. I definitely feel like I"m always trying to hide my chest even without realizing I'm doing it. Sigh.
