I think this guy I had a crush on is really straight, and I think he may be interested in me because he gave up on women. Today, we were talking and he said he probably will never get married and then he said women were a waste of time (guess failed relationships). Hes also older which he fears is his reason for not finding love.

But he also told me today that he is still okay with me moving in with him, and he cares about me a lot. He told me he finds these three qualities of a woman attractive; skinny, and great personality. I am not skinny nor fat, but in the past he told me I was beautiful and pretty.

I know hes into me, but I also know I do not fit the bill due to my outer appearance. I think if I transistion then he will be fully into me.

He also gave me a book about love and relationships. The only thing that makes me question him is his deep faith into religion but I am not sure if that would hold him back.

I only have a few days with him left but he wants to maintain contact with him.

People do sometimes just have flirtatious personalities, even concerning the genders and sexualities they aren't into. I do, depending on my mood. He doesn't even know you - or that you want to transition, right?

People often do generalize and say 'men/women are a waste of time, never again' after a break up. They don't actually mean it.

Of course he wants to maintain contact - he thinks you're his friend and potential housemate.

Well theres no reason for potential housemate, since its one year from now at least. And were not that close, and straight guys dont tell other guys they are pretty or beautiful.

I dont know. I will probably have deeper conversations with him once I leave and start doing emails.

But he said he given up on women more than once in the past 5 months (yes but its been very on and off frie ndship).

I dont think its purely platonic... But nor is it all attraction.

I think he likes me for me. Hes protective of me at times... I just didnt want to appear attracted to him so I rejected a lot of his moves. He put his hand on my leg, my shoulders a lot, my nose even. The body language is strong as hell.
