Well, I had talked to him about it when I was down there. It seems Columbia University wants him to teach there and yes, more than likely the prices will be higher. When I asked him why, he told me that unfortunately, we (in the USA) have very high prices for medications, operating rooms and so on. Which makes sense. He might be flying back and forth.
I like that Columbia thinks he's good enough to teach there and possibly head the department.
