I was looking through the web and I came across "string" facelifts. Anybody had one. It appears much cheaper than the regular kind. It also appears quit good for raising the jowls and tightening the neck. I'm not sure this belongs here or elsewhere as the page does not address the forum on the message template.

string facelift doesn't work. It is effective for a few months and the things go back to where they were. In case you have little signs of aging you can address them with liquid facelift as minimally invasive procedure using dermal fillers or your own fat. Most of the reputable doctors don't do the string facelift because it is not effective.

Thank you. I have some jowls. Actually I think I look pretty good for a 65 year old. I just started HRT 11 days ago and I am anxious to see where it all ends up.

You do look great for your age and not having been on hormones that long. I always ask this of many people I see along the way. Why mess with perfection? You are already beautiful. You might drastically mess that up with a surgical procedure that may have unforeseen results.

Er i beg to differ on thread lifts   silhouette brand i had one done in bangkok at the metro clinic   a few months  ago ..... it depends on which type of threads are used  and the skill of the doctor  i had 6 threads top of the line brand and the same with the dermal filler ... I'd  lost a lot of Collagen in my cheeks so the perthecta filler worked wonders  , its true it does not last forever but with the high grade materials you can get 18mths to 3 years maybe more , its the same old story ..you get what you pay for ...i could have had twenty threads done at another clinic for the same price ....but they don't  last
This was just a test run for me ,its subtle  but noticable people have remarked  on the difference  however in retrospect if it was just a face lift i was after i would take the surgical route  the results are better but 3 times the cost ,with thread lift minimal down time and a pleaseing improvement
