Less motivated by sex but not on hormones

The more and more I seem to dress the less motivated I seem to be by sex. I'm married and have always had a good appetite for sex but recently since I've been taking dressing a lot more seriously it's almost as if it doesn't bother me whether sex is there or not. I'm not on any hormones or anything. Anyone else experienced something like this?

I can't relate personally but others here have talked about using orgasm as an outlet for transgender feeling or using dressing as a safety valve. It's possible you've traded one outlet for another?

Hi Christine,

I never experienced that. 3 months on HRT and my sex drive dropped to a low point and never returned. My T is less than 3 ng/dl.

Have you had your hormone levels checked. I discovered 4-5 years ago that my t was very low. While this suited my frame of mind and situation a small amount of T is required for normal functioning. My last blood test showed my at about .4 when it should be about 5.00 -6.00. This can play all sorts of havoc with motivation. Might be worth getting checked out by GP. Low T can be caused by all sorts of things.
