FFS really starts to make a difference when we get older. When young, slightly masculinized facial structure can lend a foxy look. When older and we're not so foxy, it tends to make more of an impact.
That said, if the rest of your presentation is there, a good voice can dispel nearly all doubts due to face gender ambiguity.
So I guess I'm saying that it can always help if one gets the right surgeon, but if $ is the barrier, there's plenty of other stuff to focus on and carry most of us through.
